Who We Are

Bill Combs, Jr. - Principal

Bill began his career in the Door Hardware and public restroom industry as a manufacturers’ representative with his father, Bill Combs Sr., in 1986. Throughout his journey, Bill has amassed knowledge of everything from building relationships with customers, which he values so much, to installing the products he sells. As time passed, Bill became the principal of Combs & Associates and began the journey of administrative and management duties along with company sales goals and requirements. Bill is married to Laural and together they have two sons. He is a proud grandfather. Bill spends his other life with private baseball lessons, playing guitar, woodworking, enjoying the outdoors with his Labrador Midas, and enjoys being with his family and granddaughter as much as possible.

Rebecca Hrobak - Division 10 Manager

Rebecca started in contract hardware as a locksmith with a Division 8 supplier in 2002. She joined Combs & Associates as an inside salesperson in 2006 supporting 15 manufacturers of commercial doors, door hardware, toilet partitions, accessories, and lockers with customers across four states in the upper Midwest. In 2019, her role at Combs & Associates transitioned to supporting Division 10 products exclusively. Over the course of 20 years of customer service and consulting Rebecca has never turned down a training seminar or factory tour. She prides herself on her diverse product knowledge, is always looking to learn more and is genuinely excited to share that knowledge with the distributors and architects she works with.

Shannon Combs - Marketing

Shannon made Minnesota her home after marrying Bill’s oldest son. Originally from Kansas, she moved to Chicago for university to study history and secondary education. With a background in middle school education and administrative/secretarial roles, Shannon eagerly joined Combs to work in a new industry. Her role at Combs offers her a creative outlet. She prioritizes organization and consistency in her role and is always looking for ways to streamline processes and operational procedures. In her free time, she can be found chasing her toddler, baking and cooking new recipes, exploring historical sites, and antiquing with her husband.
